It's pretty easy, just use a cracked version of the game found in a p2p network, then start a server. Or you can use the retail game and download a patch that makes your server cracked. Look for it on Direct Connect or KaZaA. Maybe you can also find it at megagames.com...

All those who connect to the server must have exactly the same BF version and exactly the same cracked version and the same patch. Otherwise it will not work. If something of this isn't correct you usally get the message "Data differs from server"
PS. When you made a cracked server, nobody can enter it with a retail version of BF and wise versa)
The data differs error are due to a Content-Check Feature of BF. If you are running a mod or someone has a cracked version of the game or so there is this error. To avoid it you'll have to disable the Content-Check in the serversettings.con file.
